We send in a relief person with similar experience to provide relief. The primary care-giver can take time off when they want as long as they give proper notifications to the client and office manager. Sometimes the care-giver prefers no regular time off. If the care-giver ill, we can replace them quickly. Once a care-giver is placed, the client is never left without care. (Exceptions when appropriate are short trips to the market or pharmacy)
Yes we do short term care, called Respite Care, when a caregiver needs a break or vacation.
Our rates are priced for a single individual. There is a 30% (may be adjusted) surcharge for an extra individual in the home regardless of the level of care, if any, the second person needs.
Normally not, but a phone call can be arranged. Our company is responsible for screening, hiring, managing and scheduling the care-givers. If a client wants to change care-givers for any reason, we will do so at no charge, as deemed necessary until the perfectly satisfied.
No. Our system is geared to four-week intervals between payments. A statement is sent once a month. (Exceptions can be made in hardship cases and Respite Care)
We bill after services are rendered. An agreement is entered into for services and an initial deposit is due upon signing the agreement.
A required deposit to start services. It is a payment to Warm Hearts for the projected level of hours in the initial service period.
If the client goes to a facility, Warm Hearts will suspend Services until the client returns home. If the client dies or does not return then a refund will be made. See below for more details -
If the Agreement is terminated prior to the end of any Service Period (except the initial Service Period), a refund of the Initial Deposit will be made to the client, less any outstanding Service hours and/or Expenses. In the event this Agreement is terminated prior to the end of the initial Service Period, an administrative set-up fee of five hundred dollars ($500) will be deducted from any refund due CLIENT. The refund will be sent within thirty (30) days of termination to the CLIENT or
Financially Responsible Party.
